Video Client Story: Vermont Studio Center
Vermont Studio Center is a non-profit artist and writer residency community in Johnson, Vermont. VSC's mission is to provide studio residencies in an inclusive, international community, honoring creative work as the communication of spirit through form.
In collaboration with VSC's senior staff, directors, and trustees, CDG has crafted a Campus Master Plan to stabilize, preserve, renovate, and build new structures to honor and support VSC's mission for generations of artists to come.
Gary Clark, President Emeritus, and Jim MacDowell, Plant Director of VSC share their experience working with CDG. An essential component of this project was the adaptive reuse of small Vermont village buildings. Our team guided VSC in a process of their own discovery towards what was needed for their buildings to serve and support artists, writers, visitors, and staff.
Thank you Gary, Jim, and all of VSC!
