Kristen Cartiglia

Kristen grew up in Vermont after a childhood shaped by many moves—and through those experiences, she learned how deeply the spaces we live in can influence our sense of comfort, identity, and belonging. Kristen believes a home holds more than just its occupants—it holds their stories, their routines, and the memories they create. That philosophy guides her approach to every project.
Each home she designs is thoughtfully tailored to the client, reflecting who they are and how they live. This personalized process means no two projects are ever the same, resulting in a portfolio that spans a wide range of design styles—from cozy and traditional to modern and minimal. The common thread is intention, care, and a deep respect for the people who will call the space home.
Kristen holds a Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Interior Design from Endicott College. During her time there, she had the opportunity to participate in an interdisciplinary design charrette hosted by the Institute for Human Centered Design in collaboration with the Royal College of Art in London. The event brought together architects, engineers, and social workers to develop a tool aimed at making the city of Boston more universally adaptable for people of all ages and abilities.
Committed to understanding every layer of the design process, Kristen also studied at Yestermorrow Design/Build School, where she gained hands-on experience in various building methods. This practical foundation allows her to approach interior design with a deeper understanding of how her creative decisions are executed in the built environment.
When she’s not working on design projects, Kristen enjoys spending time outdoors—whether she’s gardening, hiking through her family’s sugarbush with her husband and their two golden retrievers, Charlie and Arthur, or unwinding at the beach with a good book and a cold drink.
