Farmhouse Revival

Our clients requested a design that captured the essence of a historic farmhouse, one that had been carefully built and expanded upon over the years. The home is based on Vermont's Greek Revival vernacular architectural heritage. With the owners' love for alpine skiing in mind, the home is perfectly oriented toward the breathtaking views of Mt. Mansfield.

Their family lifestyle is gracious and welcoming, the home boasts a large country style kitchen adjacent to the great room and "Michigan Room" screen porch for easy entertaining and family visiting. In addition, they requested all family bedrooms be on the upper level, while providing ample guest and bunkroom capability at the lower, walk-out level.  An attached barn serves as a spacious garage.
