Stonybrook Renovation

The owners of this 2,525 sq.ft. Stonybrook end-unit home requested a thorough interior renovation that would be refreshing and rejuvenating. We started by opening up the kitchen to bring in light and views and reorganized the appliances, working surfaces and pantry storage for efficiency and to connect the cook to the adjacent spaces. We designed new cherry cabinets that were built locally by Whitaker Hartt Cabinetry from Elmore.

For details we added beams to the flat ceilings, redesigned the stone fireplaces and a mantle and replaced typical condo-style stairway details with painted wood balusters, newels and hardwood handrails. The master bath was rearranged removing the never-used whirlpool tub to make room for a generous shower and vanity.
